The Apex Rechargeable headlamp takes the durability and power of the original Princeton Tec powerhouse, the Apex, and offers a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly option. It is waterproof and provides a powerful spot beam or a bright flood with two big buttons that make switching between modes easy. The rechargeable lithium ion battery pack comes clipped to the headstrap and can be moved to your belt or pack with an extended power cable. A USB charging cable is included, making it easy to replenish the battery power, offering upwards of 90 hours of burn time. Included with the Apex Rechargeable are a rechargeable battery, battery pack bracket, USB charging cable, extension cable, nylon headstrap + crown strap, and Velcro loop strap.

The Maxbright LED is the highest quality LED available from Princeton Tec, emitting a smooth, powerful white light that is extremely bright and efficient, suitable for a wide range of tasks. The rechargeable battery power meter provides continuous feedback on battery life, and the rechargeable lithium ion battery pack can be moved to your belt or pack with an extended power cable. The headlamp also offers multiple beams, combining focused narrow and wide beams for versatility. The wide beams simulate normal daylight conditions at close range, while focused narrow beams provide distance illumination. Depending on the use of the spot beam or flood light and light mode, the burn time is approximately 13 hours. Additionally, the Apex Rechargeable is waterproof, providing waterproof integrity down to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
